CITY OF WATERFALLS CHALLENGE MULTI-DAY

Club Lead (BTC Schedule) or Independent Hike at Your Own Pace

You’re sure to find spots along the trail that will become your favourites and although we have broken the section into 2 manageable routes, you will still be challenged. The distance and the elevation changes will give you a great feeling of accomplishment.

PLEASE NOTE:

THESE HIKES CAN BE DONE IN ANY ORDER, INDEPENDENTLY OR WITH A HIKE LEADER (SUGGESTED).

IF YOU SIGNED UP FOR A BTC HIKE LEADER HIKE, THEY WILL DETERMINE WHICH IS DAY 1 OR 2, AND IN WHICH DIRECTION YOU GO.
Please always refer to your Hike Leader description when Booking, and follow their email directions.

Below are the two suggested routes and parking spots. You have the option to set your own hike route, pace, and break your hikes over more days. Or even 1 day for the brave:)

HIKE 1: Cityview Park and car shuttle to Spencer Gorge Parking Lot (Conservation Hamilton) and hike back. The cost at this parking lot is $16.50 per vehicle and driver plus $5.50 for each passenger. Distance 21-23km
Waterfalls to visit: Tews Falls, Borer’s Falls, and Great Falls (aka. Waterdown Falls).

HIKE 2: Park at the Mud St lot and car shuttle to Artaban Rd Parking Lot (Conservation Hamilton) and hike back. The cost for this parking lot is $11.00 per vehicle. Distance Approx 22-24km
Waterfalls to visit: Sherman Falls, Tiffany Falls, Lower Chedoke Falls, Upper Princess Falls, Mountview Waterfall, Albion Falls and Buttermilk Falls.

For Independent Hikers: please order your badge using our online purchase process on our main Badge Page. Then send us your hike log plus photos of the 10 waterfalls listed above, and we’ll mail your badge out.

Badge Fee for Independent Hikes: Members $20 / Non-Members $30

For Club Leader Hikes: please check our social channels for details of when those hikes are available, or visit https://hikes.brucetrail.org/ for our schedule (it’s always being updated). You will pay for your badge when you register on the BTC Hike Booking site, and you’ll received your badge from your hike leader upon completion.

Badge Fee for Club Leader Hikes: Members $30 / Non-Members $40.
